The Erie Café's classic club-like atmosphere blends a cedar ceiling and exposed brick walls with new wood paneling, which is accented by original impressionist oil paintings. Featuring large picture windows simply draped in floral chintz, The Erie Café is the perfect setting for casually elegant dining and seats 380 guests.

Entertain family, friends, or business associates in our private banquet room, which can accommodate groups of 20, up to 200 people. Custom menu selections can be created to suit any occasion. The banquet room features a fully complimented bar, wood dance floor, and wood-burning fireplace.

Outside dining on the Chicago River for between 50 and 200 people from May 1st to November 1st.

Located along the North Branch of the Chicago River on Erie Street, The Erie Café serves prime-aged steaks, chops, and house specialties in a classic club-like environment.

Formerly with Club Gene & Georgetti, E.J., Larry, Ron Lenzi Jr. & Sr., grandsons and son-in-law of it's founder and former owner Gene Michelotti, now bring generations of classic Chicago steakhouse management experience to the re-established historic Erie Café. One of the family members is always there to take care of you.

Situated in the historic River North area, this architecturally significant building features arched stoned windows overlooking Chicago's Loop. It was carefully rehabbed to become The Erie Café, a steakhouse that opened its doors in September 1994.
